Michael and Melissa Zinman need your help.On July 29, 2002, Michael was diagnosed with
Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML)
and needs a Bone Marrow Transplant, as is his only hope for a
cure to this life threatening disease. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover all of the cost of
transplant and post transplant drugs. They need your help to cover the insurance shortfall of the added
costs during this time.
Michael Zinman is a life long resident of Shelbyville. Michael and
his wife Melissa have been married
going on 13 years and have
three children. Brittany is twelve and in the seventh grade at the Middle School.
They
also have two sons, Brandon who is eleven and
Anthony who is eight; they both attend Loper Elementary.
Michael has been employed for Pilkington (LOF) for
two years and in the Indiana National Guard at the
Shelbyville unit for a year. Since Michael has been diagnosed he has not been able to work, but hopes to return after his transplant.
Because of the extraordinary expenses of the Bone
Marrow Transplant, plus the travel costs, We Need Your Help!
Michael
will go in Indiana University Medical Center on November 12, 2002 where he will start the procedures for a related donor transplant. His
brother Wayne from
Nevada will be his
donor.
The
National Transplant Assistance Fund has established a tax-deductible
fund to help cover the uninsured medical and related non-medical
expenses that Michael and Melissa face.
Please
help them by making your tax deductible check payable to:
